Blacklist & Ban Policy

Blacklist & Ban Policy

To protect the integrity of our evaluations, payouts, and trading environment, PropEd Capital enforces the conduct rules below. Violations may result in suspension, archival of all trading accounts, forfeiture of profits and pending payouts, and a permanent ban.

Suspected hedging is automatically flagged for human review before any enforcement action is taken. PropEd reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity and withhold payouts pending review.

Prohibited conduct

Multiple or duplicate accounts: operating more than one account per person, or creating additional accounts to obtain extra evaluations, resets, or funded capital. Detected through identity, contact, and device matching.
Account or credential sharing: allowing another person to trade, fund, or manage your account, or trading on behalf of someone else. This includes shared logins and shared devices across different customers.
Identity misrepresentation or failed verification: the name and identity on your account must match your government-issued ID. False, mismatched, or third-party identity documents are prohibited. Affected accounts are placed on hold pending verification.
Group or collusive trading: multiple traders coordinating opposing positions across separate accounts to guarantee a payout regardless of market direction.
Ban circumvention: creating a new account after a ban, or registering or purchasing with a blacklisted email address, phone number, or IP address.
Fraud and payment abuse: chargebacks, stolen or unauthorized payment methods, or any fraudulent purchase activity.

Coordinated hedging across accounts

Holding offsetting positions in one account or across multiple accounts to neutralize market risk and game an evaluation or payout is prohibited.

Opposing positions in a contract and its mini/micro equivalent of the same underlying market, for example long NQ while short MNQ, long ES while short MES, and equivalently for YM/MYM, RTY/M2K, and our commodity, FX, and crypto micro contracts.
Opposing positions in correlated index products, for example long the Nasdaq complex NQ/MNQ while short the S&P complex ES/MES, or vice versa.

Enforcement

When an account is blacklisted, the following actions may be taken:

All purchases are frozen.
All open trading accounts are archived and platform access is disabled.
Associated IP addresses are blocked.
Future registration or purchase using the same identity, email, phone number, or IP is prevented.
Profits and pending payouts may be forfeited when prohibited conduct is confirmed.
